The Great Gene Fiasco

Last century has been famously hailed as the century of the gene. It saw the birth of the gene as a hypothetical hereditary factor, its upbringing as a material entity and its positioning in the super icon niche. Unfortunately, the metamorphosis of the non-physical gene into particulate gene proved to be the greatest tragedy ever to happen in biology, next perhaps only to Darwinism. The book discusses generation of junk science as a result of the wrong concept of gene and genetic information and contrasts the situation with the Qur'an-based scientific definition of life. Although very late, scientific community must realize the failure of the concept and turn to the Qur'an for guidance in defining life in the interest of science.
